Pam Hatley has been hired as the South Regional Youth Resource Missioner.

A Note from Pam:
For at least ten years, the Episcopal Youth Ministers from the Charlotte area have met once a month for lunch and discussion about our ministries.  We always take the summer off, but we plan to start meeting again on the third Wednesday of the month at  Holy Comforter from 1-2:30pm.  Eucharist is available in the sanctuary at 12:15pm and a hot lunch will be available for $4…or you are welcome to bring your own.  Contact Karen Moseley-Mattox  for more information.Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, September 16th.  These meetings have been invaluable to me as a Youth Minister in building relationships and sharing information.   

I realize that some of you do not live near Charlotte, or even if you do, 1:00pm might not work with your schedule, but I wanted to make sure that everyone knows about these meetings.  I plan to begin taking notes and sending them out afterwards so that everyone can be a little more connected.  I would also like to know if anyone would be interested in another meeting in the evening, or perhaps one in the Sandhills area.  

In addition to this regular monthly meeting, Beth Crow, our Diocesan Youth Missioner, hosts a meeting in Charlotte about every six months.  This meeting is also coming up.  It will take place at St. Peter's in Charlotte on Tuesday, September 29th at 6pm.  Dinner will be provided, but I will need to know if you plan to come by September 20th so that we can be sure to have the right amount of food.
